Rakul Preet Singh’s Team Claims No Summon Received By NCB, Actress Unlikely To Join The Probe Today
According to Times Now, Rakul Preet Singh’s team has denied receiving any summons by the Narcotics Control Bureau, and the actress is unlikely to join the probe today
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is investigating the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, and has so far arrested Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, and others. Meanwhile, as the investigation is on, several names of Bollywood stars such as Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika Padukone allegedly surfaced in the drug case. It was being reported that Rakul Preet Singh will be summoned today, however, the actress’ team has denied receiving any summons by the Narcotics Control Bureau.
According to Times Now, Rakul Preet Singh is unlikely to appear before NCB. Her team maintains that no summons have been received and that she is unlikely to join the investigation today. Meanwhile, according to Times Now, the NCB has countered that Rakul Preet Singh was sent summon digitally, and they said that the NCB will wait for her since the summon has already been issued. Times Now reports that Rakul Preet was in Hyderabad and arrived in Mumbai just yesterday. However, her team has issued a statement in which they have said that Rakul hasn’t got any summons for today neither in Mumbai nor in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, designer Simone Khambatta, whose name had also surfaced, has arrived at the NCB office. Times Now also reported that Shruti Modi is expected to reach shortly. Check out the report below:

Yesterday, Republic reported that the members of NCB’s SIT teams visited Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor’s homes and handed over the summons, and that they are expected to join the probe on September 26.
